Why do vegans and vegetarians so often have to pay two or three time the price that others have to for a product that cost virtually the same to manufacture. The beef gelatine capsules are replaced with a natural vegetable derived substitute which adds 0.001p to the cost of each capsule. So for a bottle of 180 Multivitamins the price rises by a mere 18p per bottle. And yet so many bulk suppliers of health supplements insist that their products cannot be made to be vegan and vegetarian appropriate because it costs too much. Those that do supply a vegan variation to their products expect the customer to pay so much more for the privilege of being socially responsible, just to pad the profit margins of their bank accounts.

We are often asked why we started Natural-Ingredients.co.uk and why make it a socially responsible company? Simple, we saw the opportunity to supply a range of products that could meet the needs and conscience of a new breed of consumer. In general, people who take care of their health and are socially responsible have to spend a considerable amount of time shopping for their products, either on the High Street or on the web. They generally look after the outside of their body as well as the inside and nutritional needs by buying skin care, health supplement products and grooming and herbal drinks form many different suppliers. So we decided to make them all available under one roof, all on a single web site, with one shipping charge. All without having to trawl the High Streets looking at labels to see if the products are really animal friendly and vegan or vegetarian appropriate. We also wanted to try and supply all our products at a really competitive price.

That was when we started to research into finding the right products at the right price from trusted suppliers. At Natural-Ingredients.co.uk we are constantly improving not only our product quality but also our product range. We have a wide variety of top quality suppliers and are usually able to supply any product ordered on line within 10 working days, subject to stock and availability.

Here at Natural-Ingredients we have a simple aim, we want to supply the best quality products at the best prices on the net. Unless specifically indicated, all our products have a "Zero Carbon Impact", are Vegetarian appropriate and are NEVER animal tested*.

These philosophies often make our products slightly more expensive than some less socially responsible retailers, however we believe that, in time, and with your support, our socially responsible approach to health and lifestyle shopping will become the norm. If you have seen a product either in the high street shops or on another web site and do not see it in our product range, please send us the details and we will endeavour to obtain it for you.
